Route: Claydon Lock-Chipping Warden-Edgcote-Wardington-Cropredy-Claydon Lock.

Distance:  9.5 miles (15.5km)    Ascent:  150ft

Walk Description: A pleasant walk taking in parts of Macmillan Way, The Millenium Way, Jurassic Way and The Battlefields Trail. Walking is through fields, small roads, tracks and canal towpaths. Very muddy if wet.

Location of Parking:  Parking area near canal towpath/bridge. Additional parking on grass verges.

Direction to Parking: From Solihull take M42 toward M40. At Junction 3A take M40 south to junction 12 (Gaydon Exit). After exiting motorway turn left on to B4451 towards Gaydon. After about half a mile turn left on to B4100 toward Banbury. After approx 4 miles turn left towards Avon Dassett. Take first right  in Avon Dassett towards Farnborough. Go through Farnborough and turn left at A423 ( Southam Road). Take next right signposted Claydon. In Claydon turn right and go through the village. Take the left hand turn at the sharp right-hand bend. After half a mile parking area is immediately after the bridge on the right hand side. Additional parking is available on grass verge.
