Directions to Parking: Brown Clee roadside parking, Park Gate – From Solihull head to Bridgnorth on the A442 and just before Bridgnorth take the A458, then left onto the B4364 to Cleobury North. Just after St. Peter & St. Paul’s church take the next right turn which is Oakwood Road, a one way system. When the one way system finishes take a left turn which is Park Gate. (Sat Nav code is accurate)
Information: From the car park there is an immediate climb up to Abdon Burf trig point and from here the walk then drops down to Abdon. The walk then climbs back up Brown Clee Hill to the RAF memorial and Boyne Water before returning back to the car park. The walk includes woodland, trails, fields and a short section of the Shropshire Way. May be muddy in one section if wet. This is a strenuous walk as Brown Clee is the highest point in Shropshire with (Hopefully) good views of the surrounding countryside.
