Distance:  5 miles.               Ascent: 236 feet

Walk Detail: Field and road walking. Obviously muddy at this time of year. We pass a large fishing pond and believe an otter was seen on a recce. We pass the ruins of Fillongley Castle which came into disrepair around the 15th century.

Directions to Parking: From Meriden go along the Fillongley Road (B4102), passing under the M6, until you reach a cross roads. Turn right onto the Coventry Road (B4098) and the Manor House pub is a short distance on the right hand side. Please park at the back of the car park. Note: beware of the potholes in the car park!
